Alert Level 1 - Contact-less deliveries remain

19 June 2020

Contactless Delivery

Throughout Covid–19 we have operated under a protocol of contactless delivery. The rationale behind this has been simplistic in that we wished to maintain social distancing and put no-one at risk when we delivered freight.

With the reduction to Level 1 and life returning to a semi normal state, we had made the decision to proceed toward a more normal standard delivery process, returning to sign on glass with the courier scanners. In light of what has occurred over the last few days, and new Covid-19 cases being revealed within the country, we have made the decision to continue with contactless delivery for the foreseeable future.

We intend on reviewing this over the next two weeks and if the number of cases of the virus, detected in New Zealand returns to zero, we will look to re-instate our standard practices with signature upon delivery at that point.

If for any reason there is a reticence to handle the courier scanner and there is no wish to sign for the delivery personally, we will continue to respect that, provided we ask and receive a contact name on receipt.

Thank you for your consideration throughout the lockdown protocols and for your being our loyal customer.
